EXPERIENCE SOUTHWEST REGIONAL CONFERENCE
The SMPS Southwest Regional Conference (SWRC) is the premier regional event for marketing and business development professionals working in the design and construction industry in the Southwest Region, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah and Colorado.
Volunteers from each of these participating chapters work hard to put together the best experience for the members of the Southwest Region. SMPS Arizona is awarding one scholarship to cover the cost of the conference registration (note: extra events and pre-conference sessions, travel and accommodations are not included). Please confirm before submitting you will be able to attend if awarded this scholarship.
SWRC will be held on April 12 – 14, 2023 in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Application Eligibility and Process
- SMPS Arizona members are eligible.
- Previous winners are ineligible for five (5) years, then may apply again.
- Blind evaluation process.
If an application is incomplete, or if it reveals the applicant’s identity, employer, or co-workers by name in Part II of the application process, it will be disqualified.
Applications are scored according to the following rubric:
- How has SMPS benefited you both personally and professionally? - 30 points
- What are your top three goals you want to obtain by attending this conference? - 30 points
- SMPS involvement - 30 points
- Overall quality of submittal - 10 points (persuasive, well written, personal)
