SMPS Movers + Shakers is heading out for a walking tour of the Tres Rios Wetlands — and March is showing off. With sunshine, warm temps, and miles of scenic trails, it’s the perfect excuse to get outside, connect with fellow members, and experience one of Phoenix’s most impressive environmental restoration projects up close.

This 700-acre oasis transforms treated wastewater into a thriving riparian habitat — blending infrastructure, sustainability, and nature in a way our industry can truly appreciate. Plus, with over seven miles of trails, there’s plenty of room for great conversations, bird sightings, and maybe even a little post-walk coffee.
